What prerequisites must one fulfill to be titled a "Christian"?
I am curious to see what ya'll definitions of "Christian" are. Personally, I say most titled "Christians" are ought not to be so.

I agree... most people who claim to be Christian hardly even understand what Christianity is. And most people who DO don't take it seriously.
I'd say to be a true follower of Jesus you should of course be born again. Not just to accept salvation, but to have evidence throughout your life that you are saved.

Salvation can be tricky, sort of like vaccinations.  In this country if you choose not to get vaccinated because you believe God will protect you probably will not get the virus, not because God protected you but because 80 - 90 % of the populous got vaccinated.  Now if you have that belief and go say to East Africa among individuals with ebola you may or may not be protected.  The same may occur with salvation, be very careful where you go and who you decide to associate with because you may not have the strength or the ability to get out of some things alive.

The way I see it, is that in order to be correctly titled a "Christian", or to truthfully call yourself a Christian, you must adhere to the teachings of Jesus Christ; who He is, and what He did.

I agree with @JonnyVonny.  Statistics show that there are more about 2 billion Christian; but according to me, many of them are not Christians.  To me, to be a Christian is to be "Christ like."  In other words, to be Christian is to be devoted to pleasing God and doing His will such as helping others and trusting in Him.

If you say Christians are those that follow what Christ said at the end of Mark then there a very few Christians today.  This ending is supposed to have been added to the original, but many things were added to the originals both in the Old and New Testaments.  I guess one has to go with there own experience on this, with a true sense of agnosticism awaiting for the ambivalence to be removed with a true miracle in ones life.
