How did WWII come to an end in Europe…Japan?
WWII came to an end by how japan surrendered and Europe understand after three months about how japan surrenders to the axis powers
Well J-day came around with the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the devastation was so immense that they were forced to surrender so they could recover now D-day was the beginning of Germany's surrender when an amphibious invasion plan called operation overlord had a massive allied army storm Normandy beach. They quickly drove into the heart of Germany and when Berlin was under assault Hitler committed suicide thus ending the war.
yes i agree with you godmod360, i was about to say the same thing but i have a hard time explaining things.
thanks :)
In Europe, Berlin was attacked by Soviet forces, they conquered the city and forced the surrender of the Germans, and in Japan, internal dissent in the War Cabinet, the atomic bombs, starvation, the high death toll and the Emperor's own words brought an end to the conflict.
The united states dropped to atomic bombs on japan and for Germany they gave up and had to take the blame for the start of the war so land was taken from them and they were forced to pay alot of money.
That was the First World War regarding the money thing. The forced reparations caused Germany to unify against the world out of bitterness, leading to the Second World War.
