please help

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

Simple method: ft^2 is the end result each side is measured in ft and if each is dilated by 3 (3)^2 = 9 so just multiply 202 by 9 = answer --- longer way: each side becomes multiplied by 3 (5*3), (9*3), (4*3) the surface area of a rectangular prism is 2(sideA * sideB) + 2(sideB * sideC) + 2(sideC * sideA) so we can get 2( (5*3) * (9*3) ) + 2( (9*3) * (4*3) ) + 2( (4*3) * (5*3) ) = answer which should turn out to be the same anyways

OpenStudy (r_josh10):

so is the answer 1818?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

yes :)

OpenStudy (r_josh10):

thanks so much!

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):
