A repeating decimal: 0.333333333..... or 0.5454545454.... A terminating decimal 0.45 or 0.25 So a repeating decimal goes on forever in a certain order, and a terminating decimal has an end.

So just divide the numerator by the denominator for the fractions, and see if what you get is a repeating or terminating decimal
