Ok. If the loan is for $4500 at 7.5% simple interest, then the interest paid in one year is 7.5% of $4500. You need to find 7.5% of $4500. To do that, multiply 7.5% by 4500. 7.5% is the same as 7.5/100, so you need to multiply 7.5/100 * 4500 You can also multiply 7.5 by 4500 and then divide by 100.
