The Ural Mountain Range is in Eastern Russia and it spans from the border of Kazakhstan to almost the sea. it's about 800 miles West of Moscow, Russia which is the capital, and about 800 miles South of Finland

In fact, the northern mountains of this range are in the Arctic circle! There is a lot of cool events and history from this range. Did you know that they found an ancient mummified woman there with a perfectly preserved tattoo?
