Which of the following is a source of genetic variation in sexually-reproducing organisms? mitosis meiosis translation all of these

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Mitosis is the name of equational division of cells in which cells make exact copy of themselves. This process doesn't creates much genetic variation. The second name "Meiosis" is the name used for the reduction division in which cells make new cells containing half DNA. Interesting point to be noted is that processes like crossing over are associated with meiosis. These create genetic variations and are used in sexual reproduction (while formation of gametes).
