Why were some americans more supportive of the war of 1812 than others?

First off, The US had just finished a war with the Brits. Only about 30 years earlier had we fought the Revolution. This war was fought because England was restricting trade. Most Adult Americans were alive during the revolution, so they remember these events. And they did not want the brits to try and control the US again!
