How has OpenStudy impacted your life?

Well i will start of. Os has been a great site, it kept me from playing games and not doing my homework and now i don't really play games anymore like i use to and now i am better in school. I learn new things everyday for other helpers that i never knew before and i hope this site will help you improve in school.

OpenStudy is everything to me now. I rather spend my time on OpenStudy then waste my time doing something else. I found it when searching questions, and now I can't leave. And I don't know what I would do in my spare time without OpenStudy. :P

Yep i came here 2yrs agp but on my profile it says 3months ago lol but i came here when i was in geo in 10th grade and now i am in 12 and graduating in may but i got help from the best and old @zzr0ck3r havent seen him/she in a while. since then i got hook on OS

I remember my first year starting online school (that was two years ago). I started out terribly because all of my schooling before that was with an actual teacher in front of me, verbally giving me the lesson. I just couldn't learn. I would stare at my text books and sob until my mom would have to come in and yell at me for being too loud. Then I remember looking for something to help me understand my math more. That's when I came across OpenStudy. And that was about 2 days after my birthday. I remember getting on and asking questions in math. I almost fell out of my chair when I understood it. Now, nothing sounds more fun than doing math. OpenStudy has made learning fun for me. It's like a sport. I would rather be on OpenStudy than be on instagram, twitter, or blogging. I love OS. That's the bottom line. I'm not even really sure how to explain it. OS has been a great help to me. My brother always asks what I'd do if I had no OpenStudy, but I'm sure I would die. Thanks so much for making it!

i stumbled across this site almost 2 years ago....i dont know how
i signed up and started answering some math questions i knew. now i am here thanks to the addictiveness of this site. i dont really ask many questions but i have gained a lot of confidence in answering questions which i am not 100% sure of and therefore learning from that ;)
apart from academics, i have made many close friends along the way...this is the uniqueness of OS whihc you wont find with tutors or brainly or yahoo answers

Been super busy, finally have a minute to say something.

OpenStudy has impacted my life so much. And in a positive way. Being in online school, it gets really hard especially when the lessons don't cover some things. I signed up because I loved the way I saw people helping others and thought, "Maybe someone can help me." I got help from one of my favorite users now, @jigglypuff314 . Without some of the people on here like @Abhisar , I probably wouldn't be passing precalc and chemistry.

Wow, nice to know I'm not the only one feeling what I feel. This is my first year of online school. I'm used to having a teacher in front of me, explaining everything, so it was very difficult for me to start teaching myself. I'm used to filling out packets and stuff, while my teacher told me what to write, and then I just got a textbook, and a list of questions(mostly questions not from the text), so I struggled. Then, I found OS. I mainly use it for help in math, and then for helping in math, and also for fun. I've made so many friends on OS, and come on every morning before working on homework. I was very busy trying to catch up to where I wanted to be with my work lately, so I couldn't be on for long, but now I will have more time to help others. I just love to be on OS, and everyone here is just so great. It's helped me keep my grades high and it's helped me make a few more friends(I had also just moved before starting online school, and didn't have a chance to meet many people). I love this site because I know I will get the answers I need, along with a good explanation that helps me understand the concept, and I can make close friends, and be able to talk to them through here, and make it so that OS isn't just a site for answers. as said above, OS is unique and that makes it great.

I first found OS Googling my questions..when I couldn't find them, I decided to make an account (2+ years ago) and ask them myself..at first it was some account like "awlekgjeg", then I created "greenlegodude57". I came across many intelligent users like @DebbyG @SolomonZelman and @mathessentials tkhelp me on my Math..I wasn't exactly failing my courses, but I did need help. I don't know how, but somehow I started helping others with their Math. Probably just to raise my SmartScore at the time. I only really started helping people when I made this account.

Well, before I started coming to Openstudy for help, I was behind on a few subjects. (Mainly Math) and when I found people (like @iGreen ) they really helped...Since then, I have caught up on my subjects, and I have a passing grade. All thanks to the people of Openstudy @iGreen @AnswerMyQuestions and @ganeshie8 These 3 extraordinary people have...pretty much changed my life you could say....Thanks to everyone of Openstudy.

Honestly I am an online student as well and when I looked up a n answer for a question thats when I found OpenStudy has changed my life, they always had the answer I needed and I had people that were there for me. Being on OpenStudy has found me some great friends that helped me like @ShadowGirl15. I thank OS for not only helping me but other students as well!
