OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

Use the binomial theorem to expand the binomial.

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

\[(d-5)^6\] I have it expanded, so I just need my answer checked....What I got was: \[d^6-30d+375d^4-2500d^3+9375d^2-18750d+15625\] thank you!

Nnesha (nnesha):

did you use pascal's triangle ?? or did you use factorial method ?? i'll check it:-) ^ tell me how did you solve :)

OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

I had to use the binomial theorem lol \[(d-5)^6=\sum_{k=0}^{6}\left(\begin{matrix}6 \\ k\end{matrix}\right)d^{6-k}\]

Nnesha (nnesha):

hmm yeah well there are two ways :P one of cheat instead of finding :D ;p|dw:1428361750715:dw|
