Will give fan and medal to anyone that answers correctly!!!!!!!!!! Which of the following could be used to build suspense in a story? Repetition of words that makes the reader confused Short phrases that make the reader interested Words that make the reader think Punctuation that makes the reader pause

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Any ideas?

OpenStudy (ashash):

I think it's either B or D

OpenStudy (ashash):

@king_kong_killer @saraked11

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think D is incorrect. You should pause at a punctuation anyways.

OpenStudy (ashash):

C ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct.

OpenStudy (ashash):

@texaschic101

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think c also

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually C is incorrect.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whattt how?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C is like reading a dramactic story or book. It doesn't make the story/book suspense; but more interested.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or emotional.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

doesnt suspenseful make you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh. It does. But it's hard to explain. I don't believe it's C.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c sounds more logical then repetition and short phrases

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the punctuation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Making the reader think doesn't exactly make them excited

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They could be confused.

OpenStudy (ashash):

It wasn't B. I didn't get any points for it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

think of it in like a horror film. they rnt so straight up with everything. but making you think "omg whats in that hallway. or whats going to happen now that this happened" is suspenseful.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because they are making u think and putting you on the edge of your seat. did it say the correct answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're correct. ^_^;) Good job.

OpenStudy (ashash):

No but i believe it was C or D.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C was correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it can be d but then again their is a lot of poets that do not use pauses like that for suspense. its more like romantic

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is a poet that uses a lot of pauses in her poems but none of them are suspenseful at all. her name is emily but i forgot her last name

OpenStudy (ashash):

Thank you anyways!! I still was able to get a good score.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha good! and np

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Of course. ^_^
