@tywower Sessile means that they are attached to one place and cannot move from that location. It does not mean the are completely immobile. A plant that grows like a vine is a good example, they start from one point and grow out from there.
Crustaceans include many animals such as shrimp and lobsters which swim around. This statement is saying that Barnacles are different from other animals in the classification "Crustacean" because they are Sessile. Sessile means that an animal is like a plant, it puts out things like roots and anchors itself to one location. Other Crustaceans such as shrimp, are called Motile, meaning that they move from place to place.
