thx, anyone else?
OpenStudy (princeevee):
i would say a learned trait, because that when it is young it needs the mother to hear it when its feeding time, for example, baby kitens meow so the mother can hear them if it is feeding time or they need help. your wecome : )

@leonardo0430 what do u have to say about @princeevee answer?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i am not sure
OpenStudy (leonardo0430):
it mostly depends on what the pig is going on, if it is being hurt it dosent really need to know how to squeak it is born with it just as a baby knows that it has to breathe once it is born, i really dont know any other reason why a pig would squeak
