Function help please? Check my answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got D

Nnesha (nnesha):

can you please tell me how did you get D ?? :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@nnesha Someone started me off and told me I had to square it (g∘f)(x)=g(f(x))=g(7x+1)=(7x+1)2=(7x+1)(7x+1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Nnesha Would that make it C or A then?

Nnesha (nnesha):

you don't have to square anything (f o g)(x) meaning first replace x by x into this equation f(x) so this one is easy when you replace x by x you would get same thing for example \[\rm g(x) = x^2\] replace x by x \[\large \color{red}{x}\] \[\huge\rm g(\color{red}{x})=(\color{red}{x})^2\] so g(x) still equal to x^2 |dw:1428463922052:dw| substiute then replace x which is in g(x) function by f(x) so yes your answer is right :-)
