@AlexandervonHumboldt2

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

1 mile equals about 1.4 kilometers. 1 gallon is about 3.8 liters

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

convert both ratios into one system of measurment: gallon with miles, gallon with kilometers, liters with kilometers or liters with kilometers. chose any of these and then check.

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

49 kilometers => 3.8 16 kilometers => 1

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

check ratios: 49/3.8 16/1

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

49/3.8 is < than 16

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

then the better gas milage has 16 kilometers per liter

You should have tried GUIDING the user. Right? @AlexandervonHumboldt2
