OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

Which means I'm totally allowed in, right?

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

:3

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\boxed{ \newcommand \stripe {\color{orange}{/\!\!\!}} % stripe \newcommand \band {\stripe\stripe\stripe\stripe\stripe} % band \newcommand \tape {\band\quad\band\quad \color{orange}{\textit {NO ACCESS}}\quad\band\quad\band \quad\color{orange}{\textit{beyond this point}}\quad \band\quad} % tape }\\ \tape\tape\tape\]

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

lol

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

your ok — on that side of the line \[\tape\tape\]

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

kk

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

I'm just gonna keep posting here u know :P XD

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\boxed{\newcommand\plain{\band\quad\band\quad\band\quad\band\quad\band\quad} %plain tape } \plain\tape\\\tape\plain\\\plain\tape\]

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\plain\tape\tape\\\band\tape\plain\]

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

{you'll never get past that one}

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

yeah right :P

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

XD

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

what! ANOTHER breach!

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\plain\tape\tape\\\band\tape\plain\plain\tape\tape\\\band\quad \tape\plain\tape\band\quad\plain\\\plain\plain\plain\plain\\\\\band\qquad\band\quad \band\\\plain \tape\tape \]

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

OK now i can discuss the secret code, \[\boxed{6% snail crawling up a wall }\boxed{2% swan }\boxed{4% sailboat }\]

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

wait what

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

What is the passcode?

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\band\quad\tape\plain\] if you don't know the passcode, you'll have to stay on the other side of the tape

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

oh wait, the numbers u just told me? that's the passcode?

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\rlap{\tape\tape}{\plain\tape}{\text{ \rlap{To check your recall of the secret code; translate the string 2244 into secret code.}\tape}}\]

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

first of all, what is the point of this? I'm just going to post and be on the other side of the "tape" every time.

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\tape\tape \] What is the point of that? i'm just going to tape you off every time

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

unless, you have worked out the pass code

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

ok, I didn't bother looking at the passcode but I have a few guesses

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

1026, 20something.... let me think for a sec

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

close, but way off \[\plain\plain\tape\plain\]

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

great lol

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

Wait, how am I close, but way off?

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

well the string has 4 elements

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

maybe there was a clue back there somewhere

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

well, ik it says 624 up there, but ik it's 4 digits...

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\band\quad\tape\plain \]perhaps, there is more information than that

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

ohhh

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\tape\tape\]

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

wait u just say tape and get that^ cool

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

`in` the boxes

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

oh

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

one more clue?

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

sure

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\tiny\text{rightclickisamagnifingglass}\]

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

don't reveal the secret code key!

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

you still need to find the 4 digit string to translate the uncoded message

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

yeah ok so

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

hmm

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\plain\plain\tape\\\tape\plain\tape\\% pc:xxyy \band\qquad\band\quad\tape\plain\\ % x=?, y=?? \plain\tape\] all persons without the passcode will be advised to stay on ^ that ^ side of the tape \(.% an to the secret brontosaurus research facilities \)

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

oh. omg.

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\boxed{ \newcommand\noaccess{\plain\plain\tape\\\plain\quad\tape\plain\\\plain\tape} % noaccess }\\ \small {\noaccess\noaccess\noaccess}\]

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

how many more hidden messages do u have lol

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\noaccess % mirroring and the brontosaurus research info tex is classified \noaccess \]

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\noaccess\tape\plain\begin{array}{l} \quad\ \quad\int^e\\[-2ex]\quad^\sim m \end{array} brontosaurus % brontosaurus\]

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

2244?

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\noaccess\plain \plain \newcommand\brnt{\begin{array}{l} \quad\ \quad\int^e\\[-2ex]\quad^\sim m \end{array} % brontosaurus} \brnt\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Snail crawling up a wall

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Swan

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sailboat

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\tape\tape\) cool

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

u basically just gave away the message XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\plain\tape\)

jaynator495 (jaynator495):

now im here :P

jaynator495 (jaynator495):

OK now i can discuss the secret code, \[\tape\\\boxed{6 snail crawling up a wall }\boxed{2 swan }\boxed{4 sailboat }\] the code is tape

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My guesses There is 3 boxes, 3 numbers, and 3 s's, so I guess 6243 If this is logical, that is my guess. If it is just like hidden in some LaTeX somewhere, and that insn't right, I'll dig deeper :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or 6245 because there is 5 'tape' posts before the code you gave

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

This is an interesting post :D

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

u guys r getting it wrong :P

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\tape\plain\tape % \]\[\plain\tape\plain\text{use the key to translate the four number string, into a four word pass code}\]

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

it's cool how u use hidden messages

jaynator495 (jaynator495):

\(\brnt\) and brontosouris...

jaynator495 (jaynator495):

mirroring and the brontosaurus research info tex is classified

jaynator495 (jaynator495):

pc:xxyy x=?, y=?? all persons without the passcode will be advised to stay on ^ that ^ side of the tape an to the secret brontosaurus research facilities

jaynator495 (jaynator495):

To check your recall of the secret code; translate the string 2244 into secret code.

jaynator495 (jaynator495):

OK now i can discuss the secret code, 6 snail crawling up a wall 2 swan 4 sailboat

jaynator495 (jaynator495):

plain tape

jaynator495 (jaynator495):

stripe band tape

jaynator495 (jaynator495):

Now to piece these all together.

jaynator495 (jaynator495):

6244 624 2244 No brontosaurus is here No brontosaurus in here wow... it would take me hours to explain how i came up with that... is any of those codes right? :P

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

All possible passcodes are: 6622 6644 2266 2244 4466 4422 :P

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

ooh your good TSO and u jay, u guys got it

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

it's one of the things u said, each of u

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

at least u got part, u got the numbers

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\plain\tape\plain.\text{translate the correct number sting into a word string } \] Youse are on the right track, i see you found most of the hints But the pass code is a string of words \(.%\text{translate the correct number sting into a word string } \)

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

\(\noaccess\)

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

Y'all too slow, the pass code was `swan, swan, sailboat, sailboat` but don't worry, my secret research will be protected under a new security system. . . . . thanks for playing. . .

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

The snail sentence threw me off. But when you said it was words, we could have eliminated all the passcodes with 6 in it. This was an amazing game @UnkleRhaukus , would love to play it again :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It was?
