I'm highly upset with OS right now..

4 days ago, i got suspended because i got upset with another person because he was harrasing me over PM and was insulting me on a public post. Nobody was there to care about how I felt, but OH NO, SHE CURSED WE HAVE TO SUSPEND HER.

This site is REALLY upsetting me with the new 'update' and some of the mods (not all) and very self centered and just go by the rules.

I think there needs to be alot more attention on cyberbullying and pull your stuff together.

If the other user was harassing you, I'm sure they also got suspended, but swearing is against the CoC

NO. they didnt get suspended!! One of the people i fan, i contact outside of here, and they told me that he was still posting on a daily basis and its absoulutely ridiculous that they didnt get suspended for the pm's they sent me. ive reported him many times and tried to talk to the mods and they never responded,.

Most mods will respond back especially on topics such as harassment, but when you first message them, mention why you are messaging them, "Hello! There is a user harassing me, insert user here, sending me PM's such as "blah blah blah". He is also insulting me on a post, (put link here). When you have a minute could you please take a look? Thanks!"

Second you can block.
Third you can ignore.

i did.. @sleepyjess i told several of them and as soon as one of the mods came to look at the post, IM the one who got suspended. Regardless, the reason im upset is because the mods weren't taking me seriously and never respond; and they never reported him.

If you think you were falsely suspended you can always email abuse@openstudy.com.

1) Block the person to stop the messages.
2) Never swear back. The reasons why someone swears never matter on here. It is not like self defense where you get to shoot a person to save a life. It is seen as a nuclear bomb and is never to be used. (Foul language is actually seen by the admins as WORSE than cheating and is something they will ban over quicker.)
3) Report it things and leave it alone.
4) Sometimes it takes a while to get to reports.
