Will fan and metal to best answer!!! Why is it more difficult for plants to live in the benthic zone of the lake than in the limnetic zone?

It is more difficult for plants to live in the benthic zone because of a lack of light and lower temperatures. The benthic zone is found in oceans whereas the limneti zone is a well lit zone of a fresh water body of water.
