Which does not describe the relationship between the nucleus and the electron cloud of an atom? The electron cloud takes up much more space than the nucleus. The masses of the nucleus and electron cloud are balanced. The electrons move much faster than the particles in the nucleus. The charges of the nucleus and electron cloud are balanced.
What do you think?
The mass is not the same
What do you know about atoms? Electrons are the negatively charged particles that move quickly in their orbits around the nucleus which is made up of neutrons and protons. The mass of an electron is ~5.4x10-5 times as small as the mass of a proton or neutron. Neutrons have no charge, protons have a positive charge, electrons have a negative charge. There are always the same number of protons and electrons for the purpose of this question.
