Not fissures or at the site or mines... There are people around and volatile unsafe conditions. Well, not directly into the ocean certainly but nuclear waste disposal in oceans in cement and lead containers time, also so does it deep inside mountains http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radioactive_waste#Geologic_disposal

the only one that appeals to me is salts mines, ie very deep underneath the earth. they are doing it if you want to read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep_geological_repository so someone somewhere thinks it is safe
