How were Japanese-Americans treated during World War II? The Japanese, along with Germans and Italians, faced little discrimination at home. There were several instances of anti-Japanese propaganda. The government deported Japanese-Americans to Japan. Japanese-Americans faced discrimination from their communities and the US government.
