Oh, and one tip on its it's. In that case, the ' is the dot on the invisible i. See: its = belongs to it or it posessive it's = it is
For a few other things, the possessive does not use a '. They are all related: its, his, hers, theirs are all possessive. it's is not, but is a valid word. hi's, her's, their's, and any similar derivatives are all incorrect.
