Question

Formatting in LyX. I'm trying to insert a citation which is labeled key-1 [1]. When I put it within the text it appears as "". How can I change this to show [1]?

Make sure key-1 [1] has some Data assigned to it.
you can try printing it the the computer's console to test out the result and see where the bug is. since I don't have the rest of the code, I can't help you more then this.

Thank you, I ended up figuring it out. I wasn't writing a code but using a program to write a lab report.
