The way you can check you work for these operations is by doing the opposite. If you add together numbers then to check it you would subtract your answer by the subtractor to get your original number.

If you multiplied 2 numbers to get an answer, you would divide the answer by the number you multiplied with to get your original.

You can eliminate C and D. Since to check a multiplication problem, you need to use division. (and it's the same the other way around if you want to check a division problem)
