OpenStudy (anonymous):

@zepdrix

OpenStudy (anonymous):

HELP HELP HELP

OpenStudy (wmj259):

Add together how many times the dice was rolled and then add together the number of times a 3 or 6 was rolled. Divide the number of times a 3 or 6 was rolled by the total amount of rolls.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for 6 it is 20/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and for 3 it is 40/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now what

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do i divide 20/3 and 40/3 or something?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think the whole answer is 1/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think the answer is 1/5

OpenStudy (rizags):

i dont get the question. Are you asking whats the probability of rolling a 3 or 6 on any given die numbered 1-6?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (wmj259):

You add together # of outcomes to get 1 number, which is 40. Then you add together the 3 of outcomes for 3 and 6. Divide those by total # of outcomes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the answer, i just want it now, i have grown impatient

OpenStudy (wmj259):

O.o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 3/40 divided by 6

OpenStudy (wmj259):

(4+6)/40

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@wmj259

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i will tell u what i get

OpenStudy (rizags):

its (4+6)/40

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 9/40

OpenStudy (wmj259):

@Rizags, yes what Rizags said..................

OpenStudy (rizags):

how?

OpenStudy (wmj259):

@Minecraft_Stampy_Lovr, you messed up then.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is it? and how @wm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@wmj259

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am like confused here, plz help @wmj259 , u r my only hope and u too @Rizags

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is 1/4

OpenStudy (rizags):

add all posibilites of a 3 or 6 (4 and 6 respectivley) then divide that by the total number of possiblities (10+6+4+8+6+6=40)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that it

OpenStudy (wmj259):

Yes. thats it.

OpenStudy (rizags):

yes thats it, in simplified form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer, is it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/4 is the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that was a while, but we did

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx guys

OpenStudy (rizags):

u wnna medal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure, i gave u one

OpenStudy (rizags):
