If the equations x2 + 2x + 3 = 0 and ax2 + bx + c = 0, a, b, c ∈ R, have a common root, then a : b : c is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then a/1=b/2=c/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a/b=1/2 b/c=2/3

OpenStudy (haseeb96):

If the given equation is x^2 + 2x + 3=0 and we know the general form of quadratic equation that is ax^2 + bx +c=0 now compare both of them in order to find a:b:c Solution I m going to write the above given equation 1x^2 +2x+3=0 if u compare it with the above equation then u will find that a:b:c = 1:2:3
