How do I conjugate ar, er, and ir verbs in the ustedes and usted form? =) ex from my quiz; Usted (escuchar)_____________

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Alfonso-O , @Legends

OpenStudy (legends):

Escuchan is what Im thinking

OpenStudy (legends):

Or it could be Escuchen

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah I took this twice before and the first time I got a D and the second time a zero.. this is a tough one for me because the instructions are " Using the verb in parentheses, write the correct command for the subject given." so I just need help with like a list of how to conjugate ar,er, and ir verbs to refer back to =/ this is the last time I can retake the quiz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you still taking the quiz?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you are I think I know what you are doing wrong, I did the same thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I haven't taken it yet I've been waiting for feedback and studying before I do just in case haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Koolios, I would hate for you to fail that because you made the same mistake as me, I'm guessing it's flvs 7.04 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YEP!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Kk, I can help you then :D idk what you did, but I had been conjugating it normal (even though I learned that in spanish 1...I was confused) so for ud. you conjugate ar by taking ithe ar off and replacing it with e, for ir, and er you take those last two off again and replace with an a (ser is sea btw, that confused me)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for uds. you do the same thing but you add an n after the a or e

OpenStudy (anonymous):

make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think so =) mind If I post a few and see if I'm getting it right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure! go ahead!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would you rather me post it separately or am I good to just continue here? haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here's good, I'm not really picky

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok just making sure haha Usted (escuchar)_____________ would be escuchen?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or just excuche

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It would be the second one since it's not plural and it's just ud.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mmk so ud. is usted and uds. is ustedes right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think I got it If I finish it really quick will you check my answers before I submit it?
