What is the value of f(x) = 9x when x = -2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just plug in -2 for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If x=-2 u plug that number in were x is. then ur equation should look like this f(-2)=9(-2) then multiply ur nine by the -2. ur equation would then look like this f(-2)=-18. u then divide -2 by both sides. like this -2/-2= -18/-2. normally on papper u would cross out the matching. in this case u would cross out -2/-2. u r then left with -18/-2. rewright ur equation like this. f=-18/-2. 81/2 is 9 so that makes f = 9
