Here are the rules you'll need:

COMMANDS for USTED (1) and USTEDES (2):

1. For USTED ([abbreviated form] = *ud.*):

For -AR verbs you take the -AR off and replace it with -e.
Example:
*respirAR* --> *respire*

For both -IR and -ER verbs you take those last two off and replace them with -a.
(Note *ser* is *sea*, which can be confusing.)
Examples:
*abrIR* --> *abra*
*comER* --> *coma*


2. For USTEDES ([abbreviated form] = *uds.*):

You do the same thing but you add an -n after the -a or -e.
Examples:
*respiren*
*abran*
*coman*
