I'm not exactly sure what is being asked. If sqrt(−1) is represented by i, what is sqrt(−8) × sqrt(−2) ? I'm guessing thy want an answer in letter form like sqrt(-1)= i. If so what principle is this and how do I fin what letter represents the problem.
