Need someone to help me brainstorm. Why do you think Arthur Miller gave away the ending of "Death of a Salesman" instead of making it a surprise?
I think it has something to do with taking a look at the story itself, and not waiting for an ending, but I don't know how to prove that.
Some authors are like that ''CS Lewis'' The author of Screwtape Letters did not give anything away because the story was about a demon sending letters to another demon it was about how demons think about the human mind and psychology. It was literally a series of letters sent to teach another demon about how to ruin a person mentally. This book however had the author writing to make an end.
So then what do you think? @BasilisHolmes33
@satellite73 , please help me out here.
