OpenStudy (logan420):

What is vertical integration?

OpenStudy (matthew1286):

its where u change farm land of differnet thing i think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats when a company basically wants to be a monopoly and sellout their competition, they buy every part of their buisness, like the people who make their machines, the people who transport their goods, and stuff like even the raw resources, they buy every part of the buisness required to produce their product

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like if you manufacture milk. you buy the cows, the farming equipment required to feed them, then you buy coal to power the train that they buy to transport their goods to the store. then they buy the glass milk jugs or the plastic milk jugs. then you buy the machines to process the milk.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or no, im thinking horizontal integration

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no wait i was right lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

horizontal intergration is basically when the company buys the other companies
