OpenStudy (haileyd):

Find the vertex of the parabola by completing the square. y=x^2+4x-8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use the following formula for both x-vertex and y-vertex. \[x _{v}=-\frac{ b }{ 2a }\], where b is the value attached to the x - variable and a is the value attached to the x^2 variable. \[y=\frac{ \Delta }{ 4a}\] or \[y=\frac{ b ^{2}-4ac }{ 4a }\]. Once you find them, plot as coordinates \[(x _{v},y _{v})\], where v means vertex. Think you can carry on from here?

OpenStudy (haileyd):

Yeah thanks

No problem. Medal please?
