So I have to find the angle for x. The adjacent side is 15 and the opposite side is 8. How do I find for angle x? Keep in mind this is a 90 degree triangle. Then round to nearest hundredth.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First, would you use sin, cos, or tan for the angle?

Hint: soh cah toa

OpenStudy (igreen):

We are given the adjacent and the opposite..so we use Tangent. \(\sf tan(x^o) = \dfrac{8}{15}\) Divide 8 / 15 and find the inverse of tangent.
