A flat soda is one with no gas \((CO_2)\) dissolved in it. If you add ice you maintain the gas in the liquid longer because gases dissolve in liquids more readily .

OpenStudy (aaronq):

the second question involves the amount of oxygen dissolved in the water. As i mentioned previously, liquids at colder temperatures can have a larger concentration of gases dissolved, so the water coming out of the pipe is too hot to hold the concentration of \(O_2\) necessary for the fish to live.

Try to answer the last one with the same logic
