Computer Science 7 Online

So I have a question. On my school website, it says that any computers course in which you get a certification from can count towards a science credit in high school. In 8th grade, I took an Information Technology course, in which I was Microsoft PowerPoint certified. I asked my guidance counselor about it, and he says he doesn't know. Does anyone here know if it does count?

Anything you do counts for 8 in 7

But I took it in 8th grade, and my high school website says that a computers course that you got certified in can count as a science credit. I don't know if the Microsoft IT course I took in 8th grade counts towards that

OpenStudy (osanseviero):

You should check with your high school.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

This will be up to the school. It is not a general thing. Let me give you another example of this: Some colleges and high schools will take Cisco certifications as credit for a networking class. However, most do not.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Oh, and usually the head of the department the class would cover has a say in if it is taken for credit or not.

Ok, thank you
