Solve the absolute value equation, if possible. If there is no solution, explain why. | 5x + 13| = -7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm, 21

When doing absolute values, there are always 2 answers. First you should isolate the absolute value, which is already done. Then you write the equation two times but make -7 positive in one. Solve for both.
