Do capillaries transport the blood that is produced in the bone marrow to the rest of the body?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Generally capillaries work only in localized tissue areas.

@undercoverwalrus How do the blood cells get to the rest of the body? If they're produced from the bone marrow, shouldn't the capillaries be the vessel for them to travel? I read it somewhere, but i wasn't completely sure. Any idea if it does? Thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is thru the capillary network

Thank you! @yuktha

NOT MY IMAGE but I always looked at it as the same way rivers and streams and estuaries work. Capillaries are the smallest vessels. The larger the vessel, the more area it travels through.
