with a particular pressure, as the temperature increases and heat is given off the molecules are further apart, the volume decreases (because of the new shape)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is that an answer or is that help with the question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

molecules start to slide over each other and move in random motion temperature will be same because while ice turns to liquid temperature remains constant but as the temperature increases the water starts to become vapours

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know that this will be helpful or not

OpenStudy (anonymous):

temperature will be constant until all ice is turned to liquid

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but movement of molecules will change because of change in state

thanks
