Factor completely 3x2 + 2x – 1. (3x + 1)(x - 1) (3x + 1)(x + 1) (3x - 1)(x + 1) (3x - 1)(x - 1) I think its d but im not sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@HELPMEPLZ!! think you could help me with another one

Nnesha (nnesha):

how did you get D ?? :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whps I read the problem wrong wouldn't it be b

Nnesha (nnesha):

okay how ??

Nnesha (nnesha):

what method did you apply to factor that ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

omg im an idiot

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol no ur not

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I meant c

Nnesha (nnesha):

how ??

Nnesha (nnesha):

did you try to solve that or that is just educated guess ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you use the foil

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it is c

Nnesha (nnesha):

so you foil all answer choices ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks but I submitted it and then it told me I didn't have to do that one I was mad

Nnesha (nnesha):

hahah nice you don't have to explain that i know how students works........

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me with one more

Nnesha (nnesha):

btw instead of foil all answer choices you have to factor 3x^2 +2x -1 there are so many ways to factor quadratic equation |dw:1428855679375:dw| factor first and last term factor of 3x^2 = 3x .1x factor of -1 = -1 times 1 then cross multiply if you get middle term thatn that are factor of that equation
