Can someone help me with this integral question? You are given the four points in the plane A = (7,-7), B = (11,8), C = (13,-6), D = (16,3). The graph of the function f(x) consists of the three line segments AB, BC and CD. Find the integral from 7 to 16f(x)dx by interpreting the integral in terms of sums and/or differences of areas of elementary figures. Thank you

I tried to do this multiple of times, but its not working. So I used the points to draw the triangles by using the base times the height when finding the equation by using the slope point form but then when I add and subtract the triangles and blog the answer into the equation. It tells me its wrong.

The area I got was (-931/30) + (2752/210) -(8646/210) + (717/210) but its wrong

OpenStudy (camper4834):

hmm it sounds like you are doing it right just let me find it and match our answers

OpenStudy (camper4834):

this is taking longer than i thought
