Help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

with what?!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol kyles sitting next to meh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh haha... so? Can i have help :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its kinda hard im just tryna think of the formula for those equations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I get it, take your time :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let the boss do his work!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol ok @Preetha and maybe @k_lynn

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its A but there is only a 25% chance u will get it right becuase i guessed!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, ok lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol i wouldnt listen to him

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ik maybe @tkhunnу

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha, i really wasnt anyway

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@shrutipande9 @perl @amistre64

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you should tag them they dont exactly like meh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@shrutipande9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nobody likes you thats why they kick u off ever day

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha not everyday

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@confluxepic

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Master_Chief_117

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Ravenn

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@tylermcmullen23 @TylerD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is either A or D but that only gives u a 50% chance

OpenStudy (tylerd):

y=mx+b guys

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok finally

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@YanaSidlinskiy

OpenStudy (tylerd):

lets pick 2 points here. (-4,-8) and (4,4) -8=m(-4)+b 4=m(4)+b

OpenStudy (tylerd):

we gotta solve for m y2-y1/x2-x1

OpenStudy (tylerd):

4-(-8)/4-(-4)= 12/8

OpenStudy (tylerd):

y=12/8(x)+b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok you can take over her questions i gotta write an outline

OpenStudy (tylerd):

-8=(12/8)(-4)+b

OpenStudy (tylerd):

-8=-6+b b=-2

OpenStudy (tylerd):

y=(12/4)(x)-2

OpenStudy (tylerd):

so we already know its not y=2x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wrong

OpenStudy (tylerd):

lets see 13=10(1.5)-2 nope right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol kyle

OpenStudy (tylerd):

sorry i meant 12/8

OpenStudy (tylerd):

which 12/8=m=1.5

OpenStudy (tylerd):

y=1.5x-2

OpenStudy (tylerd):

thats your equation now you have to match it to one of them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wrong as flutter

OpenStudy (tylerd):

y-1.5x=-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope

OpenStudy (tylerd):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol nah man yours wrong!

OpenStudy (tylerd):

try multiplying both sides of that by 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol kyle i cant comment on urs but you can do this to mine ok lol

OpenStudy (tylerd):

2y-3x=-4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not how you do it!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tyler ignore him just leave a lesson @ashyyy1991 can follow

OpenStudy (tylerd):

theres a few ways to solve this problem, one way is to just substitute in x and y values for each equation since its multiple choice.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol im messin with u hahahah

OpenStudy (tylerd):

but the real way to do it, is to use the points and put it in the form y=mx+b

OpenStudy (tylerd):

then see which one fits by playing around with it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what she said
