whats the formula for volume of a clyinder?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
V=πr2h
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok tell me where the 324 pi came from?

Im leaving Im not understanding the question
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok bye
OpenStudy (amorfide):
you are given height
you know the volume
so lets use the volume of a cylinder
\[V=\pi(r)^{2}h\]
we need to work out the radius so use this formula to figure it out
then we want the area of the base of the pillar, which is the area of a circle with radius which we work out
area of a circle
\[A=pir^{2}\]
OpenStudy (amorfide):
so you could just divide the volume of the pillar by the height to get your answer
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so its 36?
