Scoliosis is the curve in your spine and it can be caused by slouching for long periods of time. Scoliosis does not necessarily come with pain, I have scoliosis but mines is not severe enough for surgery or back brace. Scoliosis can stunt your growth and it's said that some people grew a few inches after having the surgery performed to them.
