Which is a biotic factor of an ecosystem? trees sunlight rainfall soil

OpenStudy (anonymous):

biotic factors are living organisms, what is a living organism between the four??

idk

I would go with A because soil is not a living thing it is just an environmental component with vitamins and nutrients in it. The sun is not a living ORGANISM either. Rain fall is a natural phenomenon that comes from the clouds and evaporation there for it is also not a living organism it is just one of the natural elements. Then comes the tree which is actually a living organism 1:It grows 2:Goes through a process called photosynthesis 3:It provides with oxygen...There is so much more to trees and as to why it IS a living organism but to get to the point the answer is A trees. I hope this helped :)
