Hi, I joined today and Need help with some triangle questions! It's basically stating if triangles is similar by SSS, SAS, or AA and providing the postulate or theorem you would use to prove it!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Here is a picture of the triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Side angle side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@artfan96, can you tell me why? What postulate did you use.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Verticle angles congruent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks! can you help me with 1 more similar question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Any time you deal with a bow tie problem they are always going to have vertical angles congruent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The other one that's getting me stumped :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the question with the diagram?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's the same, wanting to know if It's SSS, SAS, AA and stating the postulate used to prove so.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wants to know if you can prove both triangles are similar or not

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So its oblivious it's AA

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Can we keep it to one question per thread, please. Very confusing, otherwise.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@tkhunny sorry, didn't want to spam a second thread :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't remeber all the names of the thm and pos hve a list? I can help you better that way

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@artfan96, my teacher had me write down that AA meant that one pair of angles had to be 45 degrees, and the vertical angles are congruent.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Start another thread and I will help you there :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Kk :)

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

It's never spam if you are actually studying. :-)
