However, readers love to talk about literature and discuss which books are good or bad. To recognize what they consider to be good literature, there are several different awards.
(2)     The Nobel Prize in Literature is awarded by the Swedish Academy each year to the person who makes the greatest contribution to the field of literature. This prize is international, so it can go to authors from any country. Winners of the award receive a medal, a cash prize, and, of course, the prestige of winning the Nobel Prize.
(3)     Usually called “the Booker,” the Man Booker Prize is a much newer award than the Nobel Prize.
