hello again! for this question, they are asking you to multiply 3/4 by 4, right? when you multiply a fraction by a whole number, you always get an answer that is smaller than the whole number! It is basically dividing, because you are actually finding a PART of the whole number by multiplying it with a fraction. When you multiply 3/4 by 4, it is asking you to find a PART of 4. Specifically, it is asking you to find 3/4 of 4, which is not hard, because 3/4 of 4 is 3! do you understand?
