Has anyone ever read any of Edgar Allen Poe's work or Romeo and Juliet? I need help choosing a topic from one of these for a research paper and I'm not exactly sure what to research?
yeah i've heard both what do you need help on?
I'm doing a research paper and we need to pick some thing out of one of the stories to research and I'm not sure of a topic
ok which topic do you know most about? or interested in?
I know more of Romeo and Juliet
Just not sure what you would research about it
ok, for Romeo & Juiliet you could always do the plot of each scene or the plot of the over all story, you can what is the rising to the climax.
is it a English research paper?
Yea it is
ok then do the over all plot of the story and how the story reaches the climax the plot chart
you would probably research William Shakespeare, and how he came up with the story of Romeo and Juliet
does that help?
So I would research about him and how the story line came about basically?
yep an how he came up with the story if it was based off any real life events but we can never be so sure about that one, Good luck on your research paper :)
I was going to say Romeo and Juliet as well; there's a lot more readily available information about it.
Do you have any other idea's for topics? I just want to have a variety and the best one. I truthfully suck at topics. Because it needs to be 3-5 pages long and I want to have something to consistently write about @leahhhmorgannn
@ayyyyyyyyy25 I think you should post this in the language arts section, this is math
lol no it's not thanks though @kittenlover731
oh this isn't math? opps! this whole time I thought I was in math lol
I, personally, am interested to see how many people Romeo and Juliet have inspired, how many people have written forbidden love stories because of this beginning one or how many people it has inspired to fight for a love that was forbidden. There may not be many statistics on that but, with a lot of hard work and research, you'd probably be able to write a very unique and very interesting paper on that. Also, wouldn't it be amazing if we discovered a Romeo and Juliet-con where people who were obsessed with it could go to celebrate it? I don't think something like that exists but you could introduce an idea for it, talking about how much of an iconic piece of art it is, etc.
