A.3/5
B. -5/3
C. 1
D. –1
Nnesha (nnesha):
do you know the slope formula to find slope ??
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Yeah but I forgot it because I haven't done this in a while..
Nnesha (nnesha):
\[\huge\rm m = \frac{ y_2 - y_1 }{ x_2 - x_1 }\]
formula to find slope use order pair where \[\large\rm (x_1 , y_1 )(x_2 , y_2)\]

I'm confused :/

confused about what ??
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Like the formula... I don't know how I would solve the problem with it. Sorry my mind is blank right now lol..
Nnesha (nnesha):
first number in order pair is x and 2nd one is y
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So you subtract the y's and the x's then divide? @Nnesha
Nnesha (nnesha):
yes y's should be at the top (numerator )

Okay does that mean it would be a fraction?
Nnesha (nnesha):
yes right like in formula y_2 - y_1
divide by x_2 - x_1
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Oh okay I think I know now.. Thank you :P
Nnesha (nnesha):
are you sure ??
Nnesha (nnesha):
so what's the answer ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did 4-(-1) which I got 3 and -3-2which I got 5 so i got 3/5 :/ Am I wrong.. I feel like I did something wrong D:
Nnesha (nnesha):
okay you can sole that way
so 4-(-1) = ???
OpenStudy (anonymous):
3
OpenStudy (anonymous):
wait nvm its 5
